 Bob Dylan’s Greatest Hits Volume II est son deuxième album de compilation, sorti le 17 novembre 1971 chez Columbia Records, comprenant une face complète de morceaux inédits provenant de ses archives. La compilation comprend également un simple inédit « Watching the River Flow »; « When I Paint My Masterpiece »; une chanson du concert de Dylan au Town Hall du 12 avril 1963, « Tomorrow Is a Long Time », et trois chansons de The Basement Tapes que Dylan a réenregistrées : « I Shall Be Released », « You Ain’t Goin' Nowwhere » et « Down in the Flood ».
