Celine Dion - A New Day Has Come (CD)
Celine Dion - A New Day Has Come (CD)
After a break of nearly two years during which she gave birth to her son René-Charles, Celine returned with A New Day Has Come on March 26, 2002. was her first collection of new songs since Let’s Talk About Love in 1997. The album’s first single, “A New Day Has Come”, sets the tone for the album and is a wonderful combination of new and old. Building on Celine’s past success with the Max Martin-produced song “That's The Way It Is”, the collaboration continued with the opening song “I'm Alive”. The album also launched the international hits “Have You Ever Been In Love” and the title track “A New Day Has Come” and would go on to earn Celine the Favourite Artist Award at the American Music Awards in 2003. One of the album’s masterpieces is “I Surrender”, written by Sam Watters and Louis Biancaniello. The song is perfect for Celine and allows her to showcase her extraordinary vocal abilities.
A year later, many of the album’s songs are incorporated in the show entitled A New Day... at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.
