Celine Dion - Incognito (CD)

The album Incognito marks a major turning point in Celine’s career. After nine studio albums, Celine released her first album on a major label, CBS, which would eventually become Sony in 1991.

At 18, Celine had a new sound and look. René Angélil asked famous Québécois songwriter Luc Plamondon to write original songs for her, in addition to several Quebec rock and pop composers. Eddy Marnay, her main lyricist since the first recordings, also contributes five new songs to the album.

Of the album’s eight songs, six are released as singles. Four of the singles reach #1 on the Quebec music charts.
